makai's eyes flew wide open as he heard the sound of Brooklyn screaming. The moment his eyes were open he had vanished from his spot appearing next to her. he stared at her his eyes open wide. he grabbed his cloak and threw it over her and gently picked her up bridal style. he crouched and shot off racing to her dorm. Obviously something was wrong with her. He looked down at her he could feel a large amount of light energy radiating from her body. He headed right to her dorm at high speed jumping from tree to tree and roof to roof heading quickly. he picked up speed as he saw the dorm inside. he leapt right through her window and landed on the ground in a crouched position.

Makai layed her gently on ehr bed and shook her softly. he ahdt aken her hand softly and squeezed telling her he was there, "Brooklyn whats the matter? How can i help you tell me." He looked down at her his crimson orbs staring they were wide as he watched her.

Brooklyn kept herself hidden under his cloak, scared to let the open air touch her skin now because of how the sun had looked. She trembled in his hold and when she felt she was on her bed in her room she still didn't come out. Her amethyst eyes were shut, she refused to open them as she hid under his cloak from her very element, or at least trying to.

When she felt him squeeze her hand, she used that same hand to point toward her personal closet. "Jar" was the only word she said. Within the closet were complete uniforms for the Spirit Red class on hangers and on the ground in stacks were jars, thick and heavier than the average jar. Plus these wouldn't break as easy. They could be dropped from three floors up and still be fine. But if they were thrown with force from three floors up they would break.

Makai nodded as she spoke about a jar. he looked to her closet and nodded. With a click of his fingers bats began to swarm around the building. The bats formed a blanket completely covering the dorm making everything inside pitchblack cutting off any sort of life. he kissed her forehead and gently slipped his hand from her grasp and approached her closet. he slowly began to open it. he bent down and collected one of the large jar's picking it up with ease. Taking the jar he began to slowly approach her on the bed..

Makai sat on the bed and gently took her hand and squeezed it. he move dhis other hand and gently ran it over her hand, 'Here i've got what you asked for." he gntly moved the cloak around ehr eyes and held the jar in front of her. His eyes seemed to shake worry inside them as he stared at her. She was trembling like a newborn vampire.

Brooklyn continued to tremble. She usually went through this by herself now. She looked up at him with closed eyes, too afraid to open them. "Open it please." she said softly as she took her free hand and held it to chest. "And close your eyes if you don't like the light" she added. The light was no longer sun light but light energy. Nonetheless though, it would still be very bright.

With the hand on her chest, light began to shine from between her fingers as she slowly pulled out the light she had pushed in. When he opened the jar, she put the light inside of it, it's shine no longer expanding except for the opening at the top of the jar, but once shut it would have the same effect as Cameron's bubbles and the jar would seem to glow without much expanding light. Almost like a glow stick or orb.

Makai didn't turn his eyes nor close them as he stared at the light. he ignored it as he opened the jar and let her put the sphere inside. The moment it was in he shut bthe lid and turned it sealing it off. A mass of bats erupted from the dorm spiralling into the air as the blanket of darkness vanished. he sighed and walked over to the closet and placed it on the ground. The moment he had he turned to face her and slowly approached her. He sat on the edge of the bed and cupped ehr chin making her look him in the eyes, 'Now..why in the world did you do that!" he stared at her as he looked at her with his burning red eyes all emotions left his face. he was emotionless completely cold with his expression. His eyes narrowing as he waited for her to slowly answer him.

Brooklyn looked at him, opening her eyes slowly, the emotion that would usually have her arguing with him about things wasn't there. And instead of words to start an argument, the words she spoke were "Because it made others, including you, a bit better." Her voice soft, not wanting to start an argument.

She moved her chin from his hold and leaned against the headboard and wall that her bed was against, looking at the wall in front of her. She knew what she did was foolish, stupid, idiotic, and any other word that could be thought of like those. She did it anyway though. Despite how she seemed to come off as a loner to some, a bitch to others, or a even a child. She wasn't cold hearted, at least not completely. She had killed people before, she had tormented them, but when it came to the academy she took responsibility with certain things.

He stared at her as she looked away from him. he sighed and cupped her chin and made her look at him. An arm wrapping around her waist as he pulled her close to him. he stared down at her. he sighed again and held her close to his chest. His hand now on the back of her head as he gave her a gently hug, "Don't scare me like that again baka." He placed his forehead against hers and looked her in the eyes, "Don't ever do such a foolish thing again. You can't go and risk your life so willy nilly like that sure it make help others but if you sacrificing yourself then don't not until you can handle it. Don't do things so foolish."

He ran his fingers through her wet hair and lifted her chin up slightly again, "if you keep doing this to yourself your vampiric powers will slowly weaken and you won't be able to help anyone." he kissed her forehead softly, 'Why must you be so reckless?"

Brooklyn listened to him without saying anything, her mind wondering why he cared so much about her actions and her health and her condition. Despite any other thought she had, she no longer had her sister to cling to or be there comfort her or scold her for the things she needed. Just the arguments and the hatred between the two fraternal twins and so, she found herself pulling her small, wet, figure into the other vampire's lap and curling up a bit, her hands and arms against his chest as she used her hands as a pillow.

"Because that's just me" She said simply and without looking up at him, she asked in a curious voice "Why were scared?" She didn't move from the place she had put herself, she didn't want to hear any teasing about it though.

Makai sighed as she curled up in her lap. he ran his fingers through her wet hair before gently picking her up and laying her on her bed. he took a step back and placed his hands on his collar, 'Because i care for you and secodnly i don't want what happened to me to happen to you. Just watch," he sighed as he slowly pulled his robe off and discarded it to the side. he sotod in front of her showing her his entire scared and burnt torso, 'If you keep doing this sooner or later your regenerative abilities will kick down to a crawl and you won't even be able to recover from a simple cut without it scarring." He crouched down and grabbed his robe throwing it back on.

Makai cracked his neck rubbing it softly before looking at her, "Thats why i'm advising you to stop straining yourself." He placed a hand on her head and looked down at her. he sighed and walked over to her drawer and pulled out some cloths for her, 'Come on lets get you out of those wet cloths." he looked at her, "Don't worry i won't look."

Brooklyn's eyes widened as she was moved from the comfort of his lap, the first feeling that hit was abandonment. Her eyes moved to look at him as he spoke and looked over his body. If her powers weren't so used up now she might have been able to heal a few of those, light coming with some healing if used right. It would be awhile though before she'd be able to do healings again.

She got up and got the clothes, retreating to the shelter of the bathroom that was connected to the dorm room as she changed from her wet cloths to dry ones. When she came out she was in a white button up tanktop with a collar and some pants that were loose around the legs so that they were easy to move in but not exactly wave around loose. She had towel dried her hair and brushed it before putting back in the signature red ribbon she had on that one part of her hair.

Makai smiled softly as she left to go get changed. he waited patiently for her as she stepped out doing her hair up with her red ribbon. he walked over her gently picked her up bridals tyle and walked her back to her back. he laid her down on her beck and pulled the covers over her. he gave her a kiss on the forehead and sat on the edge of her bed. he took her hand and gently held it, 'Now just rest up okay." He gave a sweet smile. bats surrounded her window blocking the sunlight out completely making the room nice and dark for her.

he gently rubbed her hand holding it in his. he looked her in the eyes, "If you need anything i'll be right here i won't leave." he slowly began to release her hand, "Just get some rest you need it." he gently ran his cold fingers through her hair. "When you wake up you can feed from my blood again alright but for now rest." He gave her forehead one more kiss before pulling back. he stayed seated on the edge of her bed. he would stay their until she fell asleep.

She laid down without a word and watched them as she started to close her eyes, telling herself that when she opened them again, he would be gone, just like her father had left her when she wanted him most. She closed her eyes and fell asleep not long after that. Her mind and her body agreeing on the same thing for once in a greatly long time.

She would later wake up when it was actually night time, by then her body would be demanding food and movement out of habit. It would be then when she would find out if he would be just like her father and leave so suddenly.

Makai was seated right on the edge of her bed he hadn't slept at all he ahd stayed awake the entire time. he smiled as night came and she began to stir. it would seem she was waking up. he looked at her as she opened her eyes. he held out his hand and gently took hers holding it. A smile gracing his features as he stared at her "Morning sleeping Beauty. How you feeling?" he leaned forward giving her forehead a soft kiss. he leaned in and gently took her head and held her lips to his neck, 'I suspect your hungry go on feed if you must."

As he held her lips to his neck he had one hand holding hers. He gently squeezed showing he was their for her. His smile never left as he slowly shut his eyes waiting for her to dig his fangs in. he waited for her to feed he would let her drink from him as many times as she needed, "Take as much blood as you need to recover."

Brooklyn blinked as she awakened more, finding herself so near to his neck as he gave hr signs that he was there while she thought of how he didn't vanish. Her tiredness and lack of three fourths or more of her energy made her kinder than she had been before, though she could be the same way with almost all energy as well, few people saw it.

She softly bit into his neck, her fangs going in enough to get blood as she began to drink as the blood came from his neck. She drank slowly this time rather than quickly and harshly as she had the previous time. Her fangs came out not long after though. She wasn't desperate for blood, her body just naturally wanted it. Though it hadn't gotten all it wanted. It was too much effort right now to get her fangs to come out the needed amount to get enough blood. The puncture wounds she had just made had probably healed rather quickly for him without a mark since they were made by just poking until there was blood, hardly a puncture.

Makai smiled as he felt her fangs sink into her neck. he felt his blood moving from his body into her mouth. Of course he slightly frown feeling that she wasn't able to drink enough to weak to obviously beable to do so on her own. he sat back looking down at her. he cupped her left cheek looking her in the eyes, 'Not able to feed properly huh? Let me guess to weak." he smiled softly and grabbed his muramasa from his back. he laid the sheeth on the bed and slowly drew the long blade.

Makai lowered the blade of the weapon to his wrist, 'Come on just suck my wrist for the blood you need." he smiled as he cut himself leaving a deep gash in his wrist. Blood slowly began to spill out of his wrist. he cupped her chin with his free hand, 'Come on wouldn't want it to do to waste now would we?' he gave a true smile this time letting it stay as he watched her waiting for her to drink his blood once more. he wanted her to get better.

Brooklyn simply nodded at what he first sad, to tired and weak to function enough to argue about it. She lowered her head to his wrist and ran her tongue over the gash in it before she placed her lips over it and started to drink, much easier than she had tried on her own. She drank from his wrist with her eyes closed, relaxing as she did, holding the hand that she was drinking from's wrist with one of her own hands.

She drank until she finally had her fill and pulled away, sitting up as she licked the blood from her lips. She sat up and looked over at him before she looked down a bit "Thank you" she said softly. The two words covering a lot of the ground that they, from what she believed, they needed to be said on.

Makai smiled as she leaned her head down and licked the gash before placing her lips over it and began to drink. he sat their letting her feed on his wrist watching her drink away. his smiled widened as he gently ran his fingers through her hair as she fed from his wrist. As she slowly pulled away having her fill his wound instantly healed over. he grabbed his blade and wiped the blood off it with a white cloth from his pocket. he put the cloth away and smiled gently at her, 'No problem when ever you need blood just tell me." He gave her forehead a kiss.

Makai gently laid her back down, "Now stay there alright don't strain yourself to much Brooklyn you do need your rest more than ever now. Don't worry i won't leave your side at all. if you need anything don't hesitate to ask and i mean it alright. I'm here to help you." His hand gently rubbed her cheek as he gave her another smile.

Brooklyn looked at him as she laid down, blinking her eyes a bit. She laid there though, unable to fall back asleep so she just stared at him with an occasionally blinking gaze. She was silent for the longest time until she finally said "I can't sleep" Even when she had tried closing her eyes she found herself unable to give into wanting to sleep.

Nor could she figure out what was keeping her from getting the sleep she desired. She just felt awake yet tired. The kind of tired some people felt when they were bored but they were awake in a sort of way only in this way she knew she was tired because she had lack of energy and rest but she couldn't get herself to actually fall asleep.

makai stared at her and smiled gently. he laid down ebside her but atop the covers. He had his back to the wall of her bed. His arms folded over his chest as he looked down at her,. he grabbed her gently and pulled her up placing her head against his chest. His fingers gently brushing through her hair, 'Alright since you can't sleep would you care to talk? or just sit in silence its your call." He smiled a she looked down at her form on his chest. He loved the way her hair felt around his fingers. he would just run his fingers through her hair for hours if he was allowed to.

makai laid his head back against the wall and smiled. he gently moved her head so she could look at him. he looked her in the eys as he waited for her answer. If she wanted to talk it was fine with him. if she didn't he didn't mind;

Brooklyn blinked and looked up at him from his chest. She shrugged a bit "Fine, lets talk." she said though at the moment it was more of a 'you talk and I'll listen and speak when felt like' at the moment as she put her head back against his chest. She didn't want silence, it made her think and too much thinking made her reflect on things and she didn't feel like making in reflections right now.

She kept her head against his chest as she waited to listen to him, hearing the occasional heartbeat in his chest as she did. She found herself comfortable at least so she knew her not being able to sleep had anything to do with the bed. For right now though, she just wanted to know what he would say, a small part of her just wanting to hear his voice say something.

makai slowly stroked his chin as he began to think of what he should talk about. he was contimplating on what exactly he should say. He shut his eyes as he began to think. A sigh slowly escaped his lips as he continued to gently stroke her hair softly running it right through getting the feel of it. he slowly opened his blazing red orbs and looked down at her, "Well what would you like me to talk about? Or would you like to ask some questions and i answer them?"

"Why did you decide to suddenly end the spar we had on the first night we met?" she asked as she didn't move, waiting for a reply with her eyes shut as she recalled it ended in a way that was hardly expected. She moved one of her hands up to gently tug at the ribbon that she kept wrapped on that one part of her hair, tugging at it enough so that it didn't come undone but she knew she was tugging on it.

Makai blinked and smiled softly at her as he noticed she was tugging at her ribbon but it stayed in her hair. he stroked her chin, 'Why did i huh. Well at first it was a spar that i wanted to end but slowly as it progressed lets just say i had a change of heart and decided to let you drink my blood." he cupepd her chin, 'After all i had the choice of beating a beautiful young lady like yourself or letting her drink my blood so i decided to let you drink my blood. After all first sightings can always be unexpected."

Brooklyn rested her head against his hand as she watched his chest. "You seemed very keen on telling me I'd fail at getting to drink you blood at first." she reminded him, smiling a bit at how that had been wrong. She finally turned her head upward to look at him directly, her fingers still wrapped around the ribbon but just staying still now.

\Makai gave a soft chuckle. he gently cupped her chin with his free hand and looked her in the eyes. he slowly leane din his lips just inches from hers. A smile spreading over his features as he spoke softly, 'Well how could i refuse such a cutey like yourself?' he grined and slwoly leane din his lips getting closer and closer to hers, 'After all your just to cute for me to pass up." he gently place dhis lips against hers capturing them in a deep and long passionate kiss.
